Flipping Pages’ principal Peter Houston has worked in publishing for almost 30 years, first crossing the print-digital divide in the early 90s. He founded Flipping Pages Media in 2013 after working with Advanstar Communications as Group Content Director, where he brought together UK and US content teams to streamline print and digital workflows.
Peter has run training sessions for magazine associations in London, Edinburgh, and Dublin and for publishers from Johnston Press to Road Transport Media. He has programmed and led Guardian Masterclasses, and spoken at industry events from the Digital Magazine Awards, Magfest and The Modern Magazine to Google’s Think Publishing event.
He is regularly a judge on industry awards, from the Digital Magazine Awards, to the British Media Awards, the Scottish Magazine Awards to the International Street Papers Awards. He edited and published the Magazine Diaries in support of child literacy charity MagAid.
